A Type 27 flat flap disc built on a fiberglass backing plate with overlapping zirconia alumina cloth flaps. The flat profile suits blending, finishing and general stock removal on carbon steel and stainless, and works well at a shallow angle to the work. Supplied in packs of ten with a 7/8 in. center hole to fit standard 4-1/2 in. angle grinders. Sold as a consumable; expect to replace discs as the flaps wear back to the backing plate.
